 Spirit in the Flesh

Based on the exquisite original photographs by Leonard Nimoy from his photography book, “Shekhina", which he rightly calls, “the photographic image of the invisible.” Through motion techniques, Greenfield adapts Nimoy’s photographs for the large screen and “choreographs” them into a unity with live dance, film, music, and spoken words from “Shekhina". The Shekhina is the divine female presence which dwells with us in the world.

Live Tides

Italian dancer Vittoria Maniglio moves on stage – nude – in a sculptural dance which interacts with Amy, on screen, in her daring 1980s ocean cine-dance, Tides. Like the Shekhina photographs, Live Tides puts into play Isadora Duncan’s words . . .
